Getting started with monday.com South Africa

Start by creating a board – the real monday.com basics

Your boards on Monday.com South Africa are home to all the aspects of your projects. Here, you will put in all your project details, what needs to be done, the related schedules and customer relationship management systems. You can create boards based on departments or projects; the choice is yours. This provides transparency and accountability throughout the business. You can also determine who can see what board by creating shareable boards.

To create your first board, simply click on “New” and create a name for the board. You can then decide if you want to use an existing template for your board or if you would like to create a new one specifically for your business.

Do not forget your tasks

You have got your boards and added your groups. Now’s the time to delegate your tasks accordingly. There is no restriction to the number of tasks you can add, so do not be afraid to list it all. Just make sure that you keep all related tasks on the correct board.

Next, you will add the progress columns relating to what needs to be done on the job. You can list people or task status changes, whatever you would like to stay on top of. Once it has all been populated, your teams can start working on completing their assigned tasks.
